Waggoner, Vickey

Vickey Lynn (Wideman) Waggoner, 67, of Arnold died April 18, 2025. Mrs. Waggoner was an accomplished painter, seamstress and designer, who often showed her love for others through a crafted gift or an act of service. She was an avid baker and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, gardening, upholstering and remodeling vintage campers. She loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved traveling the country with her husband on their Harleys and camping in their favorite parks. She will be remembered for her love, creativity and unwavering faith. Born Dec. 30, 1957, she was the daughter of Ruby Wideman and the late Howard Wideman.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 52 years: Keith Waggoner; two children: Andy (Steven) Waggoner and Sarah (Todd) Reifenberger; two grandchildren: Riley (Brooklyn) White and Dylan (Summer) White; a great-grandson: Noah White; two sisters: Denise (Rich) Miekamp and Gay (Gary) McCarty; two close friends: Kay and Anissa, both of Indiana; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by five siblings: Ray, Wayne, Vivian (Wideman) Pippin, Sylvia (Wideman) Berkbigler and Dennis Wideman.

The family would like to thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their care.

A memorial service is scheduled from 3 p.m. until a visitation from 3:30-8 p.m. Monday, April 28, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Gentiva Hospice Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home.
