Vi Booth, 72, of Festus died May 11, 2025, at her home. Ms. Booth was a certified tumor registrar at Mercy David C. Pratt Cancer Center in St. Louis. She enjoyed going to the casino, sunbathing at the beach, watching reruns of "The Andy Griffith Show" and "The Waltons" and snuggling with her “granddog.” Born May 23, 1952, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Verna (Sansoucie) Thebeau and Sherman Ramsey.
She is survived by a daughter: Yolanda (Matt) Olinger of Festus; a sister: Di Hicks of De Soto; two brothers: Dean (Connie) Ramsey of Park Hills and Kevin Ramsey of Old Mines; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Wayne Ramsey and Gary Ramsey.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
