
Troy V.G. Luh, 61, of Hillsboro died May 28, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Luh had a doctoral degree and was a professor of accountancy at Webster University. He also was a forensic accounting consultant. He enjoyed cycling, fishing and spending time with his family and their dog, Kobe. Born Feb. 29, 1964, in Omaha, Neb., he was the son of the late Elbert G. “Bub” Luh Jr. and Maureen J. (Green) Luh.
He is survived by his wife: Katherine (Parsons) Luh of Hillsboro; three children: Ryan Luh of North Potomac, Md., Matthew Luh of Hillsboro and Keith Luh of Hillsboro; a sister: Tracey Armstrong of Shawnee, Kan.; two brothers: Terry Luh of Imperial and Todd Luh of Imperial; parents-in-law: Kenneth and Lauren Parsons; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at the funeral home, officiated by Andy Weaver. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Living Life on 2 Wheels, 802 Weaver Road, Festus, 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
