Thelma Catherine Edwards, 72, of Festus died April 1, 2024, at her home. Born March 9, 1952, in Clayton, Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of the late Johanna (Shuette) and Albert Williams Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Terence Shane Edwards.
She is survived by a son: Doug (Hope Ferguson) Thacker of Imperial; two granddaughters: Le Anna Thacker and Samantha Thacker; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Bryan Lee Thacker.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
