Ted “Buck” Bradford, 90, of Victoria died Jan. 4, 2026, at his home. Mr. Bradford was a self-employed farmer and worked in construction. Born Jan. 27, 1935, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Theodore G. and Blanche Rose (Tucker) Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years: Judith Ann (Thomas) Bradford.
He is survived by five children: Janet (the late Buster) Cage, Jim (Charlene) Bradford, Charlotte (Dennis) Lindwedel, Linda Bradford and Laura (Les) Huskey, all of Victoria; two siblings: Ted Bradford and Cathy Bradford, both of Festus; 10 grandchildren: Greg Cage, Jim (Elisa) Bradford, Suzy (Dan) Moran, Ted (Lettie) Bradford, Rosie (Bill) Foster, Will (Aubrey) Lindwedel, Joe (Christy) Brown, Taylor Huskey, Wyatt Huskey and Jesse Huskey; 18 great-grandchildren: Mila (Zane) Ahonen, Amber Cage, Brianna Bradford, Bryce Bradford, Dylan (Courtney) Moran, Kaitlyn (Floyd) Welch, Ethan Moran, Kristan Moran, Carson Moran, Theo Bradford, Tucker Bradford, Guy Bradford, Millie Bradford, Joe Foster, Levi Foster, Isaac Foster, Joe Brown and Archer Brown; four great-great-grandchildren: Raelynn Bradford, Jude Welch, Remington Moran and Genny Ann Brown; 11 caregivers: Patty, Janet, Angie, Brooke, Sharon, Amy, Darlene, Donna, Cindi, Cathy and Denise; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by a son: David Bradford; three siblings: Pete Bradford, Ed (Thelma) Bradford and Olive (Bud) Taylor; and a great-granddaughter: Genevieve “Annie” Brown.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until services at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Phil Bradford. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery in Victoria. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
