Tamie Fluegel, 65, of Ellis Grove, Ill., died May 29, 2025, at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation in Chester, Ill. Ms. Fluegel was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a medical assistant and home health nurse. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Born July 15, 1959, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late James and Louise (Rahn) Faulkner.
She is survived by her significant other: Stephen Greer of Ellis Grove, Ill.; two daughters: Alana (Jon) Mays of Chickasha, Okla., and Tera Fluegel of Perryville; four grandchildren: Jaren, Elijah, Adam and Ryker; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: Ryan Fluegel; a granddaughter: Miranda Elizabeth Pearl; and a brother: Steven Faulkner.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, in Ellis Grove City Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Dan Ahlenius. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Ill.
