Sheila Diane (Robinson) Whaley, 71, of De Soto died June 29, 2024, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Whaley retired as a secretary for Arnold Ready Mix. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and trying new restaurants. She loved spoiling her dog, Milo. Born July 3, 1952, in Marmaduke, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Ruby (Cupp) and Paul Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: Daniel Whaley.
She is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Whaley (Brad) Schaeffer of De Soto and Cynthia Whaley Wicker (Tommy Watkins) of Festus; two grandchildren: Sebastian Wicker of Festus and Layla Schaeffer of St. Louis; her sisters and a brother; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held. Memorials may be made St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
