Sharon (Davis) Harvey, 77, of Cedar Hill died June 7, 2026. Mrs. Harvey helped run the family business, Harvey Welding Services, along with her husband from 1979 to 2009. She was known for her strong work ethic, support and commitment to family. She was a member of the Cedar Hill Elks Lodge Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking and bringing people together at the dinner table, tending her yard, sipping on a Diet Coke, searching yard sales for knickknacks, watching crime shows with her dog, Bow, and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, unique vocabulary and expressions, generous spirit and loving heart. Born May 14, 1949, in Valley Park, she was the daughter of the late Lester Davis and June (Stuart) Sprock. She was the stepdaughter of the late Irving “Tooter” Sprock.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Milton “Mac” Harvey.

She is survived by two children: Kim (Harvey) Statzer and Kevin (Tanya) Harvey; four grandchildren: Brannan (Courtney) Harvey, Melissa Light, Billy Harvey and Mackenzie Harvey; two great-grandchildren: Paisley Light and Mac Harvey; a sister: Tammy (Jim) Douglas; and many other family members and friends.

She also was preceded in death by three siblings: Kenny (Wanda) Davis, Pat (Jack) Jerca and Rita Davis.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday, June 20, at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice or the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
