Rosa Agnes Arndt, 93, of De Soto died April 28, 2024. Mrs. Arndt retired from the Chrysler Automobile Manufacturing Plant in Fenton and was a member of U.A.W. Local 110. She enjoyed St. Louis Blues Hockey, visiting the casinos, playing the lottery and going to yard sales. Born Oct. 6, 1930, in Cannon Mines, she was the daughter of the late Minnie Mary (Pratt) and Frank Rulo.
She is survived by children: Gary (Lynne) Arndt of De Soto, Darrel Arndt of Bunker, Madonna Sitze of Festus, Sharon (Randy) Francis of De Soto, Richard Arndt of De Soto and Bruce (Suzanne) Arndt of Troy, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson: Brandon Francis; six sisters: Geraldine Rulo, Estalene Rulo, Louise Howell, Christine Johnson, Cecilia Olsen and Alice Butler; and three brothers: James Rulo, David Rulo and Joseph “Buck” Rulo.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
