Ronald Lee Lester, 84, of Imperial died April 11, 2026, in St. Louis. Mr. Lester was a retired machinist for Anheuser-Busch in St Louis. He was a member of the St. Louis Teamster Brewery Workers and the District No. 9 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Born Oct. 21, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Violet Lewis Hood.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years: Connie Irvin Lester.
He is survived by four children: Robbie (Ed) O'Toole of Affton, Mark (Margie) Lester of Imperial, Lisa (Tom) Michaud of Arnold and Lorrie (Raymond) Dale of St. Clair; five siblings: Yvonne Morff of St. Louis, Joe (Sue) Lopez of Fenton, Tonie Soutier of Fenton, John (Anna) Lopez of Plato and Jimmy (Diane) Lopez of De Soto; 11 grandchildren: Rena Baker of Pevely, Anthony Rossi of O'Fallon, Sarah Leutzinger of Pevely, Frank Rossi of Festus, Mark Lester of Imperial, Josh Lester of Imperial, Kattie Gilstrap of High Ridge, Nicholas Michaud of Arnold, Jordan Cookson of Lake St. Louis, Emily Nunnery of Imperial and Jackson Dale of St. Clair; 18 great-grandchildren: Melody and Shelby Ciolek of Pevely, Hannah Jones and Tyler Rossi of O'Fallon, Analyn, Lillianna and Everly Rossi of Festus, Sophia and Steven Lester of Imperial, Tanner, Tyson and Lalya Gilstrap of High Ridge, Vivienne and Daisy Cookson of Lake St. Louis, Zane, Blaire, Kai and Kade Nunnery of Imperial; and a great-great-grandson: Jason Matthews of O'Fallon.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until funeral services at noon Thursday, April 16, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, in St. Louis County, officiated by Ron Llewellyn. Burial will be in Luebbering Citizens Cemetery in Luebbering. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
