Robert Terry Hamilton Sr., 59, of Festus died June 22, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Hamilton worked in commercial heating and cooling for more than 40 years. He enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music, cooking for his family, hunting and fishing on the property and watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues. Born July 14, 1964, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Helen Louise (Martin) Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years: Sabrina Monette Hamilton of Festus; a son: Robert "Bobby" Terry Hamilton Jr. of Fletcher; a daughter: Lisa (David) Ditch; two stepdaughters: Shelby Henneman of Hillsboro and Alains Maupin of De Soto; a sister: Phyllis Rose of Troy; three grandchildren: Jaden Beiser, Carter Beiser and Kane Beiser; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by five siblings: John Hamilton, Benjamin Hamilton Jr., Myrta Hessley, Louise Jones and Janet Lohmeyer.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Monday, July 1, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Ryan Sutton. Memorials may be made to the fund established at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
