Robert James “Bob” Butler, 61, of Poplar Bluff died July 7, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Butler worked in maintenance tech. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and woodworking. Born April 7, 1963, in Festus, he was the son of Kathleen “Burg” Butler of Festus and William James (Sharon) Butler of Festus.
In addition to his parents. he is survived by his wife: Della Butler; three children: Corey Butler of Poplar Bluff, Michelle Butler of Poplar Bluff and Jackson Butler of Poplar Bluff; a sister: Jennifer (Brent) Patterson of Lake of the Ozarks; two brothers: Bill (Roseann) Butler of Poplar Bluff and Jerry Butler of Fredericktown; two grandchildren: Katrina Butler and Evan Butler; his parents-in-law: Ron and Janet Jones of Edgewood, Ill; and two basset hounds: Ellie and Flash.
He was preceded in death by one son: Donald Butler.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Fowler and Sons Funeral Home.
