Robert “Bobby” King, 47, of Crystal City died May 26, 2025, at Mercy Hospital. Mr. King was a car enthusiast, especially classic cars, and enjoyed working on and polishing them. He enjoyed listening to the band Chicago, being outdoors, fishing, grilling and spending time with family and friends. He especially loved go-kart racing and attending carnivals with his kids and was skilled at claw machine games. Born July 29, 1977, in St. Louis, he was the son of Laurie Summers of Crystal City and the late Robert “Big Bobby” King.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister: Jill (David) Abrams; five children: Haylee, Robert, Chloe, Ashlinn and Taylor King; two nieces: Abby Abrams and Alivia Abrams; and many other family members.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, July 27, in Crystal City Park, 1400 Dick Cook Drive.
