Randall Allen “Randy” Payne, 62, of Cedar Hill died Jan. 6, 2026, in Fenton. Mr. Payne enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, firing up the grill and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his smile and the warmth he brought to others. Born Nov. 14, 1963, in Hayti, he was the son of the late Barbara (Sides) and Raymond Payne.
He is survived by his wife: Connie (Phillips) Payne; two children: Jesse (Miranda) Payne and Brandi (Pete) Menke; three grandchildren: Breanna, Ben and Lucy; a brother: Steve (Christina) Payne; two nephews: Steven Payne and Jeremy Payne; his pet: Remus; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Saturday, Jan. 17, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at support.woundedwarriorproject.org or to a local humane society. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
