Patricia Ann "Pat" Craden, 69, of De Soto died April 7, 2024, in St. Louis. Mrs. Craden was a homemaker. She enjoyed solving puzzles, playing online games, being the “team mom” for her kids' sporting events and making them sandwiches and arts and crafts, especially cross stitching. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She also was a member of Morse Mill Baptist Church. Born June 27, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Mattie Marie (Alsup) and Thomas Wesley Maddox.
She is survived by her husband: Larry Ronald Craden of De Soto; four sons: Robert Allen (Tiffany) Murphy of Cedar Hill, Benjamin Murphy of Pilot Knob, Michael David (Tabetha) Radford of Arnold and Larry Michael Craden of St. Louis; five daughters: Nicole Renee Craden of St. Louis, Tina Marie Radford of St. Louis, Ashley Yvette (Chris Brown) Craden of De Soto, Shannon Michelle (Lawrence) Murphy of Herculaneum and Brittany Nicole Craden of Crystal City; two sisters-in-law: Kaaren Maddox of Cedar Hill and Wilma Maddox of De Soto; 30 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: William Rodney Murphy; a daughter: Tiffany Cheyenne Craden; five brothers: Thomas W. Maddox Jr., James Maddox, Bill Maddox, Larry Maddox and Jack Maddox; three sisters: Mattie McMinn, Francis Maddox and Gracie Chambers.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the funeral home’s chapel, officiated by Pastor Ryan Sutton. Burial will follow in the Oakland Baptist Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the William Rodney Murphy and Stanley R. Kelly Scholarship at Grandview R-2 School District. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
