Pastor Charles Randall “Randy” Casey, 73, of Crystal City died May 21, 2024, at his home. Born May 20, 1951, in Dayton, Texas, he was the son of the late Melba “Joyce” (Abshier) and the Rev. Walter Eugene “Gene” Casey.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Louise (Blake) Casey.
He is survived by three children: James “Jamie” (Renee) Casey of Crystal City, Joshua (Bobbie) Ly of Festus and Laura (Adnan) Rekic of Herculaneum; three siblings: Rick Eugene (Linda) Casey of Festus, Rodney Lynn (Julie) Casey of Columbia and Janice Kaye (the late Henry) Roberts of Atlanta, Ga.; and nine grandchildren: Austin, Dane, Benjamin, Aubree, Josiah, Amelia, Caleb, Oliver and Sylvia.
He also was preceded in death by a brother: Ronald Keith Casey.
Visitation is scheduled from 4–8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Faith Baptist Church, 11835 County Road CC, in Festus. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at Faith Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Dan Parton. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to For His Families, Inc. The Project, 725 Mississippi Ave., Crystal City, 63019. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
