Neil E. Bingaman, 88, of House Springs died June 23, 2026. Mr. Bingaman served with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, owned and operated White Oak Lanes and excelled as national sales manager for DeMert and Dougherty. He served as a councilman, mayor pro tem and city tax assessor of Arnold. His commitment to serving others continued through his role as Missouri senior administrator for Aging Ahead, where he advocated for and supported seniors throughout the state. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, tending to his garden and trying his luck at the casino. A dedicated bowling coach, he took pride in mentoring and encouraging bowlers. Most of all, he loved spending time with family, especially cheering on his grandchildren at their baseball games. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit and devotion to his family and community. Born Jan. 6, 1938, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Clarence and Pauline (Chandler) Bingaman.
He is survived by his wife: Diane (Hoff) Bingaman; six children: Brian (Gesina “Gissy”) Bingaman, Brenda (Jimmy) Pierce, Barbra (Leonard) Clark, Danny (Susan) Wingenbach, Dave (Kristy) Wingenbach and Steve (Autymn) Wingenbach; 12 grandchildren: Brian, Britteny (Dave), Brett (Drew), Heather (Ryan), Brett (Jess), Andrew (Chelsey), Brayden, Ava, Andon, Isla, Haley and Kale; nine great-grandchildren: Connor, Cayde, Deklan, Connor, Connor, Logan, Bailey, Elliot and Everett; three nieces and nephew: Kim Bishop, Lori (Dave) Clavenna and Ronnie Mueller; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Mueller; and a nephew: Robert Mueller Jr.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Open Door Animal Sanctuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
