Fincher, Mickey

Mickey Thomas Fincher, 78, of Farmington died May 4, 2025. Mr. Fincher served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Connections Church of Park Hills. He retired from American Can Co. after 30 years. After retirement, he owned and operated MLS Auto Sales for 10 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born Dec. 23, 1946, in Hamilton, Ala., he was the son of the late Thomas and Loice (Green) Fincher.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Sharron “Sherry” (Jarrett) Fincher; a son: Lennie (Nikki) Fincher; a daughter: Penny (Andy) Boyer; a daughter-in-law: Karla Fincher; seven grandchildren: Ashley (Colby) Davis, Kylie (Josh) Mitchell, Baylee (Logan) Blunt, Makenzie Fincher, Owen Boyer, Avery Boyer and Elliett Boyer; seven great-grandchildren: Aubrey and Carly Davis, Magnolia “Maggie”, Eva and Abram Mitchell, Beckham and Blair Blunt; seven siblings: Frankie (Mary Jayne) Fincher, Kathaleen McKay, Nona (Robert) Kelley, Brenda Bell, Leland (Donna Sue) Fincher, Marsha Bost (George Turley) and David (Susie) Fincher; a pet: Billy; and many other family members and friends.

He also was preceded in death by a son: Kenny Fincher; a sister: Verneva Nettles; and three brothers-in-law: Tommy Bell, J.T. Nettles and Gene McKay.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home, 1116 N. Desloge Drive, in Desloge, officiated by Pastor Lennie Fincher. Memorials may be made to The Legacy Mission at any Belgrade State Bank Location. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
