Michael F. Haws, 83, of Arnold died July 19, 2026. Mr. Haws was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League and a member of Crosspoint Church. Born Dec. 12, 1942, in Highland Park, Ill., he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Paulsen) Haws.
He is survived by his wife: Beth (Sutter) Haws; a child: Marcie (John) Brennan; two grandchildren: Lillith and Gordon Brennan; a sibling: Barbara (and the late Ray) Kizelecivous; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a child: Sean Haws.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A Marine Corps League service will be held on Monday evening. Burial will take place at a later date in Merna, Ill. Memorials may be made to a military organization of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Home.
