Melissa Ann Priest, 66, of Bonne Terre died May 17, 2026, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Ms. Priest enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Born June 25, 1959, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Virginia (Mangin) and Don Hughes.
She is survived by her significant other: Nelson (Ray) Friedmeyer; a son: Daniel Priest; a daughter: Tonya Priest; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother: James (Virginia) Hughes; two sisters: Brenda (Marvin) Sims and Sue (Rodger) Tharp; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Donna (Richard) Crosby; and three brothers: Don, Larry and Terry Hughes.
