Lester Earl Edwards, 87, of Otto died Nov. 27, 2023, at Marymount Nursing Home in Eureka. Mr. Edwards was an excellent machinist. He invented many devices and built furniture. Born March 22, 1936, in New Madrid, he was the son of the late Clora (Lomax) and Lester Edwards.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years: Mona (Rush) Edwards of Otto; four children: Jeffrey (Lynne) Edwards, Gregory (Sonya) Edwards, Gina (Dave) Huffman and Michael Edwards; one sibling: Joyce (the late Don) Joyce; four grandchildren: Shawn Edwards, Jessica Prockl, Brandon Edwards and Jacky Morris; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Edwards.
A funeral will take place at later date. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home South County Chapel.
