Leonard D. Hodges, 71, of High Ridge died April 25, 2026. Mr. Hodges was a graduate of Northwest High School. He dedicated his time to both work and community, including his role as a part-time driver for Andy’s Produce. A man of quiet strength, discipline and service, he was a Navy veteran who served aboard submarines. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether fishing, kayaking or building with his hands, and gave back through his involvement with the Missouri Valley Search and Rescue. He also served as a cub master, Boy Scout leader and Explorer leader of Troop 722. Born July 22, 1954, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Viola (Claspille) and Henry Hodges Sr.
He is survived by three children: Sonja (Brent) Rawie, Brent (Jennifer Wilford) Hodges and Todd (Sara) Hodges; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three siblings: Dennis Hodges, Diana Hodges and Rick (Shirley) Hodges; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Michelle Leicht; and a sibling: Henry (the late Diana) Hodges Jr.
Interment will take place in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
