Lana Kay Gibson, 72, of Arnold died Dec. 10, 2023, at her home. Mrs. Gibson was a homemaker. Born July 28, 1951, in Wyatt, she was the daughter of the late Martha E. (Cooper) and James E. Welch.
She is survived by her husband: Michael J. Gibson of Arnold; a child: Jennifer (Thomas) Eckstein of Arnold; four grandchildren: Jason (Chelsea) Dierker, Matthew Dierker, Matthew Kirkpatrick and Hanna Kirkpatrick; a great-grandchild: Oliver Dierker; and four siblings: Marcia (Roger) Moultrie, James (Sue) Welch, Kevin (Tonya) Welch and Cindy (Ted Schoen) Welch.
She was preceded in death by two children: Tammy Dierker and Adam Gibson; and two siblings: Gwendolynn Aldrich and Eric Welch.
Visitation is schedule from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home South County Chapel.
