Geraldine O'Keane, 94, of Fenton died April 21, 2024. Mrs. O’Keane was a member of the Model T Club in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. She enjoyed hunting and was a 1972 Missouri state skeet shooting champion. Born April 4, 1930, in Belle, she was the daughter of the late Virgie (Wolfe) and Jesse Louis Hassler.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years: Forrest O'Keane; a child: Melba (Wayne) Nolan of Fenton; three grandchildren: Tracy Nolan of Bonne Terre, Nancy (Nick) Orphan of House Springs and Scott (April) Nolan of Fenton; three great-grandchildren: Lindsey (Jacob) Cartwright, Jessica Orphan and Sidney Orphan.
She was preceded in death by a child: Gary Newkirk; and three siblings: Jesse L Hassler, Wanda Howard and Shirley Wright.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road, in Affton. A funeral service is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, April 25, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
