Gary W. Christopher, 85, of Imperial died July 19, 2026. Mr. Christopher was a charter member of the Arnold Eagles and a member of Teamsters Local 618. Born Jan. 21, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late George and Ruth (Mallow) Christopher.
He is survived by his wife: Debra G. Christopher; his children and stepchildren: Karen (Jeff) LaBrot, David (Lisa) Christopher, Dawn Arens, Jason Michael Smith and Rachel (Dave) Kohn; a sibling: Ronnie (Sandy) Christopher; his siblings-in-law; 11 grandchildren: Melissa Hellwig, Brad LaBrot, Matthew LaBrot, Cody Christopher, Colten Christopher, Tony Christopher, Landon Kohn, Madison Kohn, Dakoda Arens, Sierra Pasek and JeSarah Glowacki; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ernest (Dorothy) Christopher and James Christopher; and a sister: Georgia Whitebread.
A funeral service was held July 24 at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold. Interment was in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
