Donald Ray Dorlac, 73, of Herculaneum died April 6, 2026. Mr. Dorlac was a 1971 Herculaneum High School graduate. He was a retired sales representative for Colonial Bread, Eagle Snacks and Entenmann's Bakery. He was a member of Teamsters 688, Emmanuel Baptist Church in De Soto, Elks 1721 of Festus/Crystal City and the Amvets Post 3777 of Festus. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bowling in leagues and tournaments. He also enjoyed horseshoes, playing cards, singing and playing his guitar, cruising around in his truck and socializing. Born March 7, 1953, in Festus, he was the son of the late Mamie (Clark) and Clarence Dorlac.
He is survived by two sons: Jeremy (Katie) Dorlac of Crystal City and Jason (Amber) Dorlac of Festus; a sister: Carol (Tom) Dorlac Sanguinette-How of Festus; a brother: Gary (Jane) Dorlac; his twin brother: Ronald (Brenda) Dorlac of Weldon, Iowa; and two grandchildren Kaelyn Dorlac and Leighton Dorlac.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Rich Grayson. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
