Donald Martin Winkelmann, 81, of Arnold died April 22, 2025. Mr. Winkelmann retired from Anheuser-Busch in 2000. He enjoyed tending to his lawn, showing his classic cars, watching Cardinals baseball with his twin brother, Ronald, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his honorary grandchildren, Steven Fox and Samantha Kohler. He will be remembered for being a friend to anyone and helping those in need. Born August 11, 1943, he was the son of the late Eleanor Ann (Broeker) and Otto Francis Winkelmann Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy (Redman) Winkelmann.
He is survived by five siblings: Joseph (Mary Francis) Winkelmann, Mary Jane (the late Jerome) Zerrer, Loretta Winkelmann, Ronald Winkelmann and Diane (the late David) Sperber; and several nieces and nephews whom he and his wife considered honorary children and grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Otto (the late Margaret) Winkelmann Jr., Eleanor Ann (the late Richard) Koch, George Winkelmann and Edmund Winkelmann.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A prayer service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Kutis South County Chapel with Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road, in St. Louis County. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
