Webb, Donald

Donald Lee Webb Sr., 88, of Hillsboro died Dec. 9, 2025, at de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis after a battle with an illness following a stroke. Mr. Webb served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960 and was a retired residential carpenter. He loved spending time with his family and his special gal, Tammy, living on the family farm, driving his side-by-side and working out. He also loved serving at Gracelife Chapel-De Soto, where he spent time greeting, praying for others and helping with the food bank. Born Nov. 7, 1937, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Walter and Edna (Sing) Webb.

He is survived by three daughters: LaDon Joy (late Gary) Eubanks of De Soto, Deborah Sue (Ken) Montgomery of Barnhart and Christine Lea (Ron) John of Hillsboro; two sons: Donald Lee (Cindy) Webb of De Soto and Travis Lee (Lizzy Uthoff) Webb of Hillsboro; his significant other: Tammy Varady of De Soto; 15 grandchildren: Brandie Brown, Jennifer (John Long) Payne, Nicole (Gary) Turner, Jessica (Kyle) Helms, Meagen Koller, Kaselynn (Matthew) Denton, Benjamin (Jordyn) John, Micah John, Caleb (Dani) John, Nathaniel John, Laney (Dylan Peters) Webb, Leah (Zach) Collins, Levi (Amber) Webb, Corey (Sheena) Webb and Jeremy (Isabelle) Webb; 16 great-grandchildren: Alex Litterst, Jacob (Megan) Luther, Gavin (Alyssa) Luther, Elizabeth (Archer) Brown, Claire Litterst, Grant Litterst, Elizabeth Koller-Carron, Garrett Turner, Teagan Turner, Ellory Helms, Millie Helms, Maverick John, Vallee John, Valerie Peters, Kanon Webb and Kendall Webb; and a great-great-grandchild: Genevieve Brown.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Lou White; and two sons-in-law: Timothy Koller and Gary Eubanks.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Gracelife Chapel-De Soto, 1000 N. Main St. A celebration of life service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at the church. Memorials may be made to Gracelife Chapel Legacy Fund or to de Greeff Hospice House. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel, in Hillsboro.
