Diane Lynn (Meng) Olinger, 73, of Festus died Jan. 23, 2025, at her home. Ms. Olinger worked at Sanofi as a supervisor-production coordinator for 24 years. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, attending local festivals and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Elks Lodge Festus-Crystal City 1721 and the Mississippi River Eagles in Crystal City. Born March 7, 1951, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of the late Edward Meng and June Rose (Williams) Meng.
She is survived by two children: Trina Lynn (Rick) Labbee of Festus and Paul Olinger of Festus; a brother: Chris Meng of Pevely; two grandchildren: Callee (Chris) Klingeman and Corree (Ashley) Labbee; seven great-grandchildren: Frederick, Kaitlyn, Steven, Aubree, Izabella, Claire and Colton; 12 nieces and nephews: Jake (Christina) Turner, Jennifer (Shawn) Ferguson, Holly Murdock, Mason Turner, Makayla, Kira, Kyle, Alexis, Andrew, Elektra, Jadyn and Scott; an aunt: Barbara Tipton; numerous cousins and many friends.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Second Hand Heros, 113 Mississippi Ave., Crystal City, 63019. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
