Diana M. Haynes, 70, of Barnhart died Dec. 26, 2024. Ms. Haynes was a maintenance worker at Springdale Park and Pool. She was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, gardening and hunting whitetail and mushrooms. Born Jan. 24, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Richardson (Virgil) Wells and Elmer (Betty) Gillam.
She is survived by her partner of 33 years: Ronald Welzbacher of Barnhart; two children: Jerry (Diana) Haynes of Park Hills and Jake Haynes of Hillsboro; 11 grandchildren: Tori, Luke, Ali, Billie, Blake, Shiloh, Alyah, Josey, Mazi, Lil and Lucky; four great-grandchildren: Oaklynn, Willow, Kane and Marcelina; four siblings: Dennis (Eva) Gillam of Milford, Kan., Kenneth (Sue) Wells of Morganton, N.C., Gale Gillam of House Springs and Kimberly (Robert) Adams of Festus; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sibling: Robert (Joe) Wells.
A celebration of life will be held at American Legion 253 in Festus at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cypress Pointe Cremation Services in St. Louis.
