Debra Sue York, 71, of Imperial died March 20, 2026. Born May 10, 1954, in St. Louis, Ms. York was the daughter of the late James and Gwendolyn York.
She is survived by a sibling: Cathy Major; nieces and nephews: Tracey (Greg) Ballard, James Rosener, Carrie (Tim) Ellis, Jesse (Crystal) Major, Mark (Jennifer) Strothman and Heather (Frank) Lindhurst; great-nieces and great-nephews: Nicole, Zack, Travis, Meagan, Micayla, Caitlyn, Destany, Zackory, Ashley, Bonnie, Cassie, Haley, Abby, Hailey, Nate, Tori and Allie; numerous great-great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a sibling: Joy Strothman.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Services will conclude at the funeral home there will be no procession to the cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
