Debra Kay “Debbie” Wirth, 73, of Pevely died Aug. 8, 2025, at de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis County. Ms. Wirth was a retired service representative for AT&T in St. Louis. She had a love for horses, cherished watching John Wayne movies and adored panda bears. She found joy in spending time and creating memories with her great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader and took comfort in the simple pleasures of life, especially watching the many birds that visited her yard, cardinals being her favorite. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and warm heart. Born June 6, 1952, in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of Delma and William Stephan.
She is survived by two daughters: Kristina (Mickey) Edwards of Pevely and Misty (Arn) Olson of Florida; six grandchildren: Kendra Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Alexis Edwards, Kevin Ritzert, Lauren Olson and Devon Olson; and two great-grandchildren: Abbigail Edwards and Rowan Edwards.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely, officiated by the Rev. Terry Crank. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 16100 Chesterfield Pkwy. W., Chesterfield, 63017, or the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home.
