Darrell Gene Lairmore Jr., 53, of Hillsboro died Aug. 26, 2023, in Hillsboro. Mr. Lairmore served for ten years as a cook in the U.S. Navy, one time serving President Bush Sr. Born May 11, 1970, in Festus, he was the son of Norma SoRelle and Darrell Gene Lairmore Sr.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years: Celerina; a son: Derek; and three siblings: Jannelle (Denis) Mohar, Charles (Jess) Buckman, and Nichole (Kevin) Shear.
Visitation was Sept. 1, at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. The funeral was Sept. 2, at the mortuary. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
