Bobby Eugene Fields, 83, of De Soto died July 21, 2026, at his home. Mr. Fields worked as a computer technician for Union Pacific. He was a member of Rose of Sharon in De Soto. He enjoyed playing music, especially the guitar, hunting and fishing. Born Feb. 2, 1943, in Huntsville, Ala., he was the son of the late Lucy E. (Winkles) and Luke Fields.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Lily Kathleen (Nickles) Fields.
He is survived by a son: Michael E. Fields of De Soto; a brother: Alton (Marjorie) Fields of De Soto; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by a brother: Jim Fields.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Tuesday, July 28, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Kenny Weber. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
