Bobbie Lee (Gray) Shaw, 95, of Ellisville, formerly of Fenton, died Oct. 22, 2024. Growing up, Mrs. Shaw tended to her family’s farm until she married. She and her husband were devoted Christians. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially preparing family meals and occasionally sharing life stories with her grandchildren. Born Aug. 27, 1929, in Imo, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Jane (Griffin) and John Gray.
She was preceded in death by her husband: John Lawrence “Larry” Shaw, whom she married Sept. 21, 1946.
She is survived by three children: Sharon Harmon, John II (Jennifer) Shaw and Kenneth (Annette) Shaw; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Mildred (Shaw) DeProw; and numerous family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Marjorie Ann; five brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Diabetic Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
