AuBuchon, Anthony 'Tony'

Anthony E. “Tony” AuBuchon, 80, of Olympian Village died April 26, 2026, at his home. Mr. AuBuchon served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired as an assembler after 43 years with McDonnell-Douglas and Boeing Aircraft Corporations. He was a longtime member and Elder of Radiant Life Church in Festus. He enjoyed camping, spending time with his grandchildren and writing poems. Born June 10, 1945, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of the late Anna Belle (Byington) and Lee Henry AuBuchon. 

He is survived by his wife Linda Sue (Holman) AuBuchon; four sons: Jeffrey (Laurel) AuBuchon of De Soto, Jeremy (Christy) AuBuchon of De Soto, Anthony AuBuchon of Bloomsdale and Thomas AuBuchon of Bonne Terre; seven grandchildren: Haley AuBuchon, Lyndsey AuBuchon, Dylan Richardson, Colton AuBuchon, Jessica AuBuchon, Toni Wilhite and Anthony "AJ" AuBuchon; four great-grandchildren: Myka Wilhite, Trinity Forrest, Gage Forrest and Riley AuBuchon; and two sisters: Linda (Jerry) Umdenstock of Wyoming and Annalee Crannick Hotop of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Kenneth (Theresa survives) AuBuchon; and three sisters: Doris (Oliver survives of Barnhart), Sharon (the late Terry) Fleig and Ruth Ann AuBuchon.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. until a funeral service at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Randy Gray of Radiant Life Church. Interment with full military honors is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 8, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Radiant Life Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
