Patricia Junette “Patty” House, 76, of Pevely died Aug. 5, 2024, at her home. Pastor Patty started in ministry in 1977 and co-founded Victory Christian Fellowship, now Gracelife Chapel, in 1983 with her husband, Terry, and Pastors Randy and Mary Jo Starkey. She was a strong Bible teacher and had a successful women’s ministry called Word of Victory which had a radio program for 12 years. She preached the gospel for decades at retreats, conferences and in other countries. She was devoted to sharing the word of Jesus with others. Born Dec. 31, 1947, in Eutaw, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Norma (Findley) and James P. Silva.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Pastor Terry Lee House; two children: Stacey Lee House of Pevely and Jason Lee (Michelle) House of Collinsville, Ill.; two brothers: Michael (Freida) Silva of California and Phillip J. (Sandy) Silva of St. Peters; and four grandchildren: Dylon (Kelsey) Rundel, Maximus House, Farin Wilson and Quenby Wilson.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at Gracelife Chapel | JeffCo, 1 Victory Drive, in Pevely. A celebration of life is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at the chapel with a reception to follow at House Hall. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
