Josephine Ann (Pyle) Voisey, 78, De Soto

Josephine Ann (Pyle) Voisey, 78, of De Soto died Oct. 17, 2025, at Scenic Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Herculaneum. Ms. Voisey was a cashier at Schnucks in St. Louis for many years. She enjoyed yardwork, cooking for her family and spending time with her family and friends. Born October 27, 1946, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Humphrey) and Joseph Pyle.

She is survived by three children: Jay Voisey of De Soto, David Voisey of De Soto and Amanda (Bill) Tipton of De Soto; a brother: Donald Pyle of Santa Ana, Calif.; three sisters: Mary (Wayne) Midgett of Vian, Okla., Jean (Donald) Tidwell of De Soto and Jenny (Marty) Long of De Soto; six grandchildren: Taylor, Courtney, Bradyn, Dawson, Reid, Sydney and Sam; a sister-in-law: Phyllis Pyle; and many other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: William (Gomer) Pyle; and a sister-in-law: Sue Pyle.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital or Operation Smile. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
