Harvey Lancelot Hoelscher, 79, Festus

Harvey Lancelot Hoelscher, 79, of Festus died March 23, 2025, at his home. Mr. Hoelscher served in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked as a loader for the St. Louis Post Dispatch. He enjoyed riding and driving fast cars, relaxing on vacation, fine dining and spending time with his family and friends. Born Oct. 30, 1945, in Jefferson City, he was the son of the late Virginia (Abbott) and William J. Hoelscher.

He is survived by his wife: Harriette (Meyer) Hoelscher; a daughter: Lisa (Ronny) Immekus of Herculaneum; and two grandchildren: Skylar (Logan) Reynolds and Rose Elizabeth Immekus.

He was preceded in death by three siblings: Billie Jean (the late William) McCabe, Bobby (the late Betty) Hoelscher and Delores (Sonny) Dicus.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
