Norman L. Henry, 79, of De Soto died July 25, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Henry retired the Sears catalog store in De Soto, then worked for the Sunrise School District for nearly 20 years as a bus driver and in the maintenance department. He was a member of Primrose Baptist Church and Blackwell Masonic Lodge. He was born July 31, 1940, in De Soto, the son of the late Wintha and Verna (Valle) Henry.

He is survived by his wife: Jean (Wideman) Henry, whom he married on Aug. 27, 1960; two sons: Greg and Mike (Sarah) Henry, both of De Soto; two brothers: Doug (Bev) and Richard Henry, both of De Soto; and three grandchildren: Meghan (Alex) Heffron, Nathan (Justine Harbison) Henry and Colby Henry.

He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Robin Leas Henry.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., De Soto, immediately followed by funeral services officiated by Randy Murphy. Burial is at Woodlawn Cemetery, De Soto. Memorials may be made to Primrose Baptist Church, 9308 Hwy E., Bonne Terre, MO 63628. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
