Nellie Mae Aldridge, 93, of Imperial died Feb. 25, 2019, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Center in Crystal City. Mrs. Aldridge was a retired nursing assistant and was Baptist. Born Feb. 10, 1926, in Hartville, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Maude (Arnold) Hutson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Delbert Eugene Aldridge.
She is survived by four children: Bonnie (Mike) Harding of Festus, Shirley (John) Cissell of Crystal City, Nelda (Nick) Constantino of High Ridge and retired Army Col. Kenneth Aldridge of Bristow, Va.; three siblings: Sylvie Pyle of Mansfield, Leroy Hutson of Mountain Grove and Donnie Hutson of Mountain Grove; seven grandchildren: Paula Voss of Arnold, David Dwayne Reece of O'Fallon, Tammie Reece Kube of Imperial, Bill Hodge of Imperial, Sarah Haggard of Cedar Hill, James Aldridge of Manhattan, N.Y., and Michelle Aldridge of Asheville, N.C.; and 10 great-grandchildren: Megan Talley of O'Fallon, Ryan Reece and Chad Reece of O'Fallon, Tucker Kube of Imperial, Sydnie Kube of Imperial, Isabella Hodge of Imperial, Keith Haggard, Cailey Haggard and Natalie Aldridge of Asheville, N.C., and Jared Aldridge of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Goldie, Betty and Maxine; one brother: Troy Hutson; and one grandson: Marine Gunnery Sgt. Michael Abrams.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Feb. 28, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, at the funeral home, officiated by John Cissell. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in St. Louis County. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
