Michael Todd Pumfrey 57, of Belleville, Ill., died Feb. 19, 2022, at Memorial Hospital Belleville. Mr. Pumfrey worked as a machinist for Mueller Machine Co. in Fenton. He was born May 3, 1964, in St. Louis, the son of Lillian Marie (Purl) and Walter Monroe “Corky” Pumfrey Jr. of Herculaneum.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Tammy (Purl) Pumfrey of Belleville; two sons: Tyler Michael Pumfrey of Imperial and Dylan Pumfrey of De Soto; a daughter: Tori Sheets of Independence; a brother: Ronald S. (Julie) Pumfrey of Festus; a granddaughter: Cecilia “CiCi” Pumfrey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Tish Green. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
