Marlin A. Voyles, 75, of Richwoods died April 8, 2022, in Richwoods. Mr. Voyles was a member of the Laborers Union who served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Born July 25, 1946, in Brickeye, he was the son of the late Thelma (Patterson) Voisey and Robert Voyles.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Dianna (Schutte) Voyles.
He is survived by two children: Regina (Tony Glamann) Voyles of Festus and Marlin (Misty Emily) Voyles III of Richwoods; six siblings: Joe Voyles of De Soto, Norman Voyles of Hillsboro, Kenneth Voyles of Gales Ferry, Conn., Janet Click of Richwoods, Larry Voyles of De Soto and Rosemary Morris of Farmington; two grandchildren: Colby (Lauren) and Kali; two great-grandchildren: Liam and Laityn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Joan Bernice Voyles; three half-sisters: Lorine Voyles, Betty Voyles and Bonnie Voyles; and three half-brothers: Clyde Voyles, Melvin Voyles and Donald Voyles.
Services were held April 10 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
