Marion Paul Reando, 90, of De Soto died Jan. 24, 2021, at his home. Mr. Reando was retired from United Technologies and was a member of St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a charter member of Amvets Post 48, a member of Teamsters Local 688 and a member of Elks Lodge 689. He was born March 20, 1930, in Cadet, the son of the late Mary R. (Catlett) and Walter J. Reando Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth Jane (Boyd) Reando.
He is survived by two daughters: Lynda (Garry) Baker of De Soto and Paula (Dean) Fendelman of St. Peters; a son-in-law: Larry Page Sr.; ; two brothers: Pete (the late Judy Morice) Reando of Victoria and Donald “Duck” (the late Shirley) Reando of De Soto; four grandchildren: Misty (Ryan) King, Larry (Kim) Page Jr., Heather (David) Missey and Ryan (Lindsey) Baker; and nine great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon Page; a granddaughter: Le Ann Page; a sister: Rose (the late Ray) Trombly; and two brothers: Anthony “Tony” (the late Loretta) Reando and Walter “Wally” Reando Jr.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 504 S. Third St., in De Soto, officiated by Father Alexander Anderson. Burial is in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
