Marie Jackson, 84, Cedar Hill

Marie Jackson, 84, of Cedar Hill died Dec. 5, 2022. She loved spending time with her family and would do anything for them. She was a social butterfly and enjoyed getting together with friends. She also loved jewelry and had a beautiful collection. Born July 16, 1938, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Lizzie (Allen) and William Jackson.

She is survived by three children: Rita Mitchell, Bobbie (Michael) Strode and Sharon (the late John) Lockart; five grandchildren: Theresa Thurmon, Monica Willis, John Travis, Jennifer Flint and Jim Jackson; eight great-grandchildren; three siblings: Ann Chapman, Noble Richey and Burnastine Richey; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Ueltzen; two grandchildren, Michael and Nikki Davison; five siblings, Connie, Charlie, Malone and Lavern Richey and Garner Allen.

A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
