Marian J. (Crawford) Melenbrink, 86, of St. Louis died July 3, 2019. Mrs. Melenbrink loved crafts, fishing and gardening. She was a volunteer for numerous charitable and social activities. Born July 6, 1932, in House Springs, she was the daughter of the late Louise (Hess) and Paul Brosh.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: Edward M. Crawford and Joseph Melenbrink.
She is survived by four children: Marietta Secrest of Leasburg, Myra (Jerry) Modglin of Bourbon, Bruce (Rhonda) Crawford of Lonedell and Brian (Linda) Crawford of High Ridge; four stepchildren: Tim (PJ) Melenbrink, Nikki (Earl) Gomer, Joni (Rick) Dunn and Lisa (Hank) Kempf; six grandchildren: Ed (Stacy) Briggs, Greg (Kristina) Briggs, Trisha (Kevin) Maddox, Bob Briggs, Phillip (Paula) Crawford and Megan Crawford; six great-grandchildren: Natalie, Naomi, Matthew, Taylor, Amelia and Lilly; a sister: Betty Lou Stroll; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Donald and Harold Crawford; a daughter-in-law: Tracy Creighton; a granddaughter: Joyelle Wade; a great-great-grandson: Kayleb Briggs; and two sisters: Pauline Baker and Norma Edmondson.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3009 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Affton. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
