Louis M. Spezia, 92, Imperial

Louis M. Spezia, 92, of Imperial died Jan. 3, 2022, at his home. Mr. Spezia grew up in the Hill neighborhood in St. Louis and after serving in the U.S. Army, he got married and he and his wife moved to south St. Louis County and then Imperial, where they lived for the past 30 years. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Imperial. He was born Aug. 15, 1929, in St. Louis.

He is survived by his wife: Angeline (Campanella) Spezia; two children: Timothy (Kathryn) Spezia and Tina (Max) Vogl; four grandchildren: Jaclyn, Andrew, Easton and Elliana; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a grandson: Max “Junior” Daniel Vogl.

Funeral services were held Jan. 7 at Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Homes.
