Linda Sharon Miller, 74, of Festus died July 9, 2022. Mrs. Miller was a self-employed computer analyst and entrepreneur. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Pevely. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed dancing, reading and gardening. Born May 29, 1948, in McFadden, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Lorene Dixie (Givens) and Melvin Winfield Holt. She was preceded in death by her husband: Steve P. Miller.
She is survived by two daughters: Kimberly (Mark) Lucas of De Soto and Talina (Michael) Travica of Festus; a son: Jimmy (Cindy) Brown of Potosi; two sisters: Doris (the Rev. John Sr.) Hayes of Chatham, Ill., and Marilyn (Montie) Camden of Festus; eight grandchildren: Jessica (Austin) Wagner, Austin Nemeth, Dalton Travica, Dylan Travica, Blake Travica, Khai Brown, Maliyah Brown and Zayne Brown; a great-grandson on the way; a brother-in-law: James Davis of De Soto; and Bonnie Holt of De Soto.
She was preceded in death by four sisters: Wilma (the late Lloyd) Davis, Velma Davis, Alma (the late Steve) Dye and Evelyn Marie Holt; and two brothers: Delmar Holt and Willis Ray Holt.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W Main, in Festus, officiated by the Rev. John Hayes Sr. Burial will be in Hematite Methodist Cemetery of Festus. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church in Pevely. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
