David A. Boren, 36, of Bonne Terre allegedly sexually abused a girl for about one year in Jefferson County. The girl was younger than 12 years old at the time of the alleged abuse, according to court documents.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on Dec. 4 charged Boren with felony first-degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape and felony statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy. He was arrested on Feb. 9, and as of today, Feb. 12, he was being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court and jail records said.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on March 12, 2024, filed a probable-cause statement that said the girl told investigators she was abused between January 2018 and January 2019. The girl said Boren told her not to say anything about the alleged abuse.
