Leo Chester Duncan, 77, of De Soto died Feb. 16, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Duncan attended the First Assembly of God Church in De Soto. He enjoyed camping, hunting, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends. Born June 13, 1944, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Alline (Burns) and Chester Duncan.

He is survived by his wife: Jacquelyn (Foister) Duncan; a daughter: Misty (Larry) Willhite of House Springs; two sons: Kenneth (Dawn) Duncan of Hillsboro and Brian (Debbie) Duncan of St. Clair; three grandchildren: William “Billy” (Bryce Ronecker) Duncan, DJ Willhite and Micah Willhite; two great-grandchildren: Leo Duncan and Lawson Duncan; a sister: Linda (Terry Barlow) Johnson of Imperial; a sister-in-law: Lindy (Mike) Brumbaugh; an uncle: Eugene (Erma) Duncan; and numerous family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a grandson: Brian Leo (Michaela Hoyt survives) Duncan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday, Feb. 22, at First Assembly of God Church, 12635 Hwy. 21, in De Soto, followed immediately by services officiated by Pastor Derek Jones. Burial will be at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus.
